D. Boyer Consulting’s Print-on-Demand services offers:

1)    Review and editing of the book, for best-case grammar, punctuation, and layout for printing, as well as for readability.

2)    Library of Congress copyright application advice (author can complete personally [~$50-$75] www.copyright.gov/forms/formtx.pdf

3)    Assist in creating a Print-On-Demand (POD) platform account from which to order books; sales royalties are deposited directly into your bank account. You can order books or sell direct at discounted prices;

** this will require your one-time sharing of bank account information (bank routing # and account # for auto-deposits) to set up the account; all information will be held in the strictest confidence and any written data destroyed after set-up.

4)    Set your book for ‘on-demand’ print (based on book size you feel is best – small paperback sizes up to 8.5 x 11 inch size book).

5)    Assist in creating book cover art and the design of the front/back/spine cover for the POD book and/or Kindle version

6)    Walk the book through the processes online for approval by the printer, then set it up for publication on Amazon.com, as well as discuss the price of the book you want to get and the competition for pricing, as well as market rates for the type of book and the category best for the book in Amazon

7)    Create a Kindle (ebook) in Amazon for publication

Since each author’s needs are unique and their book publication set-up and marketing needs will be unique, the author also needs to ensure a signature of confidentiality agreement and a written and signed contract before obtaining services to protect themselves, an initial 15-30 minute consultation about the author’s needs is available at NO COST.

PROCESS

• • • After the consultation, the author will be sent a confidentiality agreement to sign.
    • The author returns the signed form, and then emails a  Word doc file of their manuscript for an initial review.
    • D. Boyer Consulting will then provide a bulleted step-by-step plan for the Print-on-Demand (POD) manuscript, for calendar-driven deliverables, which will be returned for the author’s approval and signature.
    • D. Boyer Consulting will ALSO design the cover
    • D. Boyer Consulting will set up the author’s profile in the publisher’s platform so there is NO MIDDLEMAN between the author and royalty earnings – 100% of all royalties go directly in the author’s bank account.
