OK – now that I’ve overwhelmed you with the fancy language for what I do – here it is in simpler terms:

I essentially meet with you in a 3-4 hour session that helps discuss and pull out of you what you are trying to provide to your clients. At the end of the session – you have a list of tasks and homework you can research to define and clarify whom you want to target for your marketing. You will have a good idea of how to schedule your management of same for marketing purposes. If you see at the end of the meeting that it’s too much for you to do on your own, and you need, I can take on the social media management and tasking for you and help with content, set up, etc.

Question:  Why can’t you just teach me how to use Twitter?  That is what everyone else says I need to use.
Answer: Because your target market may not necessarily be on Twitter, but uses Pinterest to shop or Facebook to get peer reactions or recommendations for services.  It may be vital to link Twitter to all your social media, but your Interior Design services clientele are not lurking on Twitter.

Question: I don’t need a website do I?  I already have a Facebook Business Page.
Answer:  You don’t have (or own) anything on Facebook.  If Facebook went away tomorrow, everything you owned and posted on that page goes away.  You have little if any control over that page on Facebook.  On the other hand, if you have a stand alone Website, then you have control, you can drive traffic to your client email database contact form to send out newsletters and specials (announcements). You own that site and it will never go away.  Use it to draw inbound traffic and create out-bound sales and advertising pitches.

Question: How do I know if I need LinkedIn or Facebook?
Answer: It depends upon your business model.  If your business is B2C (business to consumer) then your best marketing and branding methodology is on Facebook and Pinterest if you have a product. If you are selling to other businesses (B2B) then LinkedIn is great for building reputation, trust, and showcasing your subject matter expertise (SME) to potential new clients.
